To extend and improve the already available learning opportunities, the cooperation between PhD students and the networking the Cluster initiated different activities and events.

PhD seminar series:

The seminars take place at the different  locations of the Cluster and allow the PhD students to get an overview of the most recent developments in the inflammation research in the Cluster and to connect to senior and junior scientists.

Recent activities

Development of a new communication platform for the Cluster PhD students

the Cluster started in a tight cooperation with the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts and Design the development process of a interactive communication platform for PhD students. Under the supervision of Prof. Frank Jakob and Jens Alexander-Ewald, scientific assistant for interactive prototyping, three master's stundents of the MKH - Katrin Gaedecke, Viet Nguyen and Daniel Kocyba- work in collaboration with several PhD students of the Clusteron the task to develop a digital and interactive platform for PhD students.

Workshop zum Start des Projekts

The first workshop started with 17 PhD students and lead to the implementation of a project intranet to exchange ideas and project infromations.

After the development of a first concept for the platform, a prototype for the concept evaulation will be set up. If the concept will positively evaluated we will start  to realize the platform in the near future.
