Young Independent Scientists

As a first step to independence, the Cluster supports some young, talented post-doctoral scholars (postdocs) with salaries and research funding to carry out their own projects. The funding period is 2 1/2 years and may be renewed once.

All postdocs of the Excellence Cluster may take advantage of the continuing education opportunities offered by the two universities. Additionally, external training can be supported on request.
