Scientists at the Department of Dermatology, Venerology and Allergology, University Medical Center Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH), Kiel Campus, Cluster of Excellence “Inflammation at Interfaces” and Kiel University (CAU) have succeeded, in collaboration with researchers from Europe, North America and Australia, in identifying three gene variants that increase the risk of atopic dermatitis.
