I@I Mentoring

After our first successful round of mentoring in 2015/2016 we have now started a second round in autumn 2017. Currently, it is still possible to join our ongoing mentoring scheme, so if you are intersted, please contact Kirsten Emmert (

I@I-Mentoring is the Cluster-internal mentoring programme for all full and associated members of the Cluster - postdocs and PhD students. It is aimed at young scientists who wish to continue their academic career after their PhD and are aiming for a professorship or a permanent position as a senior scientist.

The first version of our mentoring scheme began at the start of 2015. A new version will start in autumn 2017. The programme focuses on the individual relationship between a participant (mentee) and a professor (mentor). Accompanying the programme, I@I-Mentoring provides workshops to expand the range of relevant skills and to help participants extend their scientific network.
